What We Do
The mission of the Faculty of Humanities is to advance knowledge and educate students in history, geography, letters, foreign languages and physical education and sports. The faculty aims at developing an education based on the latest achievements of modern science, answering to the requirements of the European and Romanian educational system, whose structure provides BA (3 years), MA (2 years) and Ph.D. (3 years) studies. The system implemented in the process of Bologna provides graduates of our faculty with greater mobility, as a result of the system of transferable credits, the diplomas conferred by the faculty being recognized Europe-wide, which ensures a quick adaptation to labor market needs not only in the country, but also in the EU. A wide range of choices in the educational process at every level, the guidance provided by our teaching staff with excellent expertise, the high level of scientific activities, a growing number of exchange agreements with European universities, all these reflect the quality of our services. This reality honor us and compels us, at the same time, to ensure our faculty a definite place among institutions with a similar profile in Romania, in Europe and abroad. Learn more | |
